While inquiries and requests for now discontinued Shigaraki series amounts, Junjim Kimura was quietly working on this new series which he named "Arare", incorporating traditional Japanese Kumiki wood for their casings.

In Japanese, "Arare" means either small rice-cake pieces or hail.

Model 4752 Phono Equalizer is a true reincarnation and an improvement over Shigaraki Phono with newly available parts and new power supply configuration. It features 47 Lab's unique current amplification design with 0 ohm input impedance (details in Phono Cube page).

4752 comes in 2 versions, standard gain and high gain, to accomodate cartridges with different ouputs and internal impedances.
